About the Role

We are seeking a Sonographer to join our friendly and experienced ultrasound team for up to 0.6 FTE (approximately 3 days per week).

This role focuses on providing high-quality obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound services in a supportive, patient-focused environment. You will work alongside experienced sonographers and specialist doctors who are passionate about delivering exceptional care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing exceptional patient care and support
• Performing high-quality obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound examinations
• Working within established clinical protocols
• Communicating effectively with patients, specialists and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Contributing to a collaborative and supportive team culture

About You

You understand the important role ultrasound plays in women's healthcare and are committed to delivering exceptional clinical care with empathy and professionalism.

Ideally, you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in a health science or related discipline
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound
• Current ASAR accreditation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• High attention to detail
• A proactive and collaborative approach
• Current driver's licence
• Satisfactory National Police Certificate

Experience in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound is highly desirable. However, we also welcome applications from qualified sonographers with a strong general ultrasound background who are keen to develop their skills in women's imaging.
