We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Practice Manager to join our dynamic team at UQ Health Care Limited. As a full-time role, you will play a vital part in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our Medical Practice and our Medicare Urgent Care Clinic.

What you'll be doing
Assist the Practice Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the medical practice
Support the management of administrative staff, including rostering, training and growth of the administrative staff
Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
Liaise with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues
Assist in the management of practice finances, including billing, accounts receivable and budgeting
Participate in the planning and execution of practice improvement initiatives
Provide backup support to the Practice Manager
What we're looking for
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a medical practice or healthcare administration role
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers
Proficiency in using practice management software and other administrative tools
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
Proven track record of contributing to the success of a medical practice

Base $80,000 per annum plus superannuation
