About The Role

As a Course Adviser, you'll be one of the first points of contact for people considering a career in aviation. You'll build relationships with prospective students, understand their goals and aspirations, and guide them through the flight training options available at SFC. You'll combine consultative sales, exceptional customer service and aviation knowledge to help prospective students understand what their training journey could look like. From an initial phone conversation through to a face-to-face consultation at our Bankstown Aerodrome Clubhouse, you'll help turn an interest in aviation into a clear pathway forward.

Key Responsibilities

Our Course Advisers are not simply selling a product. You'll be helping people make a significant decision about their future.

You'll be supported with training, guidance and the knowledge required to confidently represent SFC and our flight training programs.

Conduct outbound calls and follow up with prospective studentsBuild strong rapport and establish relationships with prospective studentsUnderstand individual goals, motivations and training aspirationsProvide accurate information about SFC, our courses and available training pathwaysGuide prospective students through their options and next stepsConduct face-to-face consultations with prospective studentsShowcase SFC's Clubhouse, aircraft and training facilitiesExplain course structures, training options and potential aviation career pathwaysManage prospective student enquiries through the sales processWork towards individual and team KPIs

About You

You'll be positive, motivated and energised by working with people. You'll also bring:

Previous sales experience, ideally within a KPI-driven environmentExcellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skillsStrong customer service skills and a genuine concern for the needs of prospective studentsHigh emotional intelligence and the ability to understand different customer needsA strong work ethic and a demonstrated sense of achievementThe ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environmentA positive "can do" attitude and willingness to learnExceptional attention to detailA passion for aviation or an interest in the aviation industry (preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common business systems

What began as a flying club has grown into a leading flight training organisation, with Sydney Flight College and SFC Pilot Academy Tamworth now training the next generation of aviation professionals.
