The Role
This is a full-time position available across Monday to Friday and is available for an immediate start.
We are seeking a person to work in our busy distribution site in Edinburgh where they will assist the team in assembling and loading of customer orders to trailers. The person we are seeking will have a positive attitude and be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic.
The successful candidate will need to be a reliable self-starter with a proven history of steady work. Being part of a close-knit transport team, you will have the ability to work autonomously and together with other assembler/loaders, tray top drivers and semi truck drivers. You will spend majority of your shift on a forklift (side loader and front loader) loading tray tops and semis with uneven loads. This will involve you planning loads and working with timber packs, roof and floor trusses and more that can range in size and include lengths of 15m or more.
