Truck Driver

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Tradeorigins Pty Ltd (Trading as NQR). As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in our fulltime freight and distribution operations, based in Truganina VIC 3029. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing Warehousing, Storage & Distribution business within the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operating heavy vehicles to transport goods and materials to various destinations

• Adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies

• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Maintaining accurate logbooks and trip records

• Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles as required

• Providing excellent customer service and addressing any delivery issues promptly

• Collaborating with the dispatch team to ensure efficient and timely deliveries

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years of experience as a Commercial Truck Driver, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment

• A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence

• Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices

• Experience with operating a variety of truck and trailer configurations

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to maintaining a safe and professional work environment

• Must have appropriate Australian work rights to work in Australia
