Based in Liverpool, the company is a well-known and trusted firm of Certified Practising Accountants. Operating for over 30 years, they offer clients complete business, tax, and finance solutions. As leaders in the adoption of technology, they utilise the latest cloud-based applications in supporting their clients. They are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their experienced, high-performing team.

The Position…

This role will work closely with the Practice Manager and Principal, and will be required to manage client relationships effectively. The company has a lean team structure with streamlined processes and minimal administration.

• Manage a portfolio of SME clients across a range of industries
  
• Attend to all tax compliance matters
  
• Provide business and group structure advice
  
• Assist clients with bookkeeping and payroll matters
  
• Assist with the preparation of complex tax advice
  
• Work closely and collaboratively with other team members 
  

The Ideal Candidate…

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• CA/CPA qualifications
  
• Minimum of 6 years of current Public Practice experience
  
• Ability to think laterally and problem-solve complex issues
  
• Proven business, accounting, tax, and superannuation knowledge 
  
• Must have solid knowledge in Xero (including payroll)
  
• Confident in managing clients end-to-end
  
• Comfortable with working full-time in the office
  
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Attention to detail and takes pride in their work
  
• Works well with others
  
• Strong work ethic
