We grow, dry, extract, formulate and manufacture pharmaceutical-grade product across Western Australia — including a 165-acre campus in Collie with a 7,000 m² indoor greenhouse and GMP manufacturing facility, and newly established GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in Perth.We hold the full suite of Office of Drug Control licences covering cultivation, production, manufacture, research, import and export. Our sites are built to GACP and GMP standards, with the pathway to EU GMP for regulated export markets. Our model is not commodity flower. We turn biomass into finished medicines — oils, extracts, live rosin, vapes, topicals and other dosage forms — for Australian patients and international B2B partners.Collie is operational and first product is moving. Perth is the new pharmaceutical manufacturing base. The next phase is scale: production, quality systems, export readiness and a premium branded range. This role owns that manufacturing engine across both sites.The roleYou will lead end-to-end GMP manufacturing at our newly established Perth pharmaceutical facilities and manage the pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Collie. You own throughput, yield, cost, licence conditions and audit readiness across both sites.You will not report to the CEO or Managing Director in the day-to-day running of this role. You will work alongside our General Manager, Compliance and Quality Control. That GM will support you on quality systems, inspections, batch release and licence conditions so manufacturing and compliance stay locked together.You build the teams and the systems that take Cannaponics from early commercial output to consistent pharmaceutical-grade production at scale.Key responsibilities• Lead day-to-day GMP manufacturing across Perth and Collie: extraction of biomass into crude resins, distillates, isolates and live rosin; formulation and filling of oils; packaging and labelling of dried flower; vapes, topicals and other finished dosage forms as lines come online.• Establish and run the new Perth GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, including commissioning, qualification, procedures and the first commercial batches.• Manage the Collie pharmaceutical manufacturing facility so both sites operate to the same standard, plan and release calendar.• Work side by side with the General Manager, Compliance and Quality Control on the quality management system, TGA and ODC inspection readiness, PIC/S GMP and the EU GMP pathway, including TGO 93, change control, deviations, CAPA, validation and batch release.• Manage ODC medicinal cannabis permits and manufacturing licence conditions, including quotas, import and export pathways, and documentation for overseas customers.• Direct production planning, capacity utilisation, yield improvement and cost of goods as both sites scale toward higher monthly output.• Partner with Compliance and Quality Control on QC laboratories, method validation, stability programs and release testing, using in-house capability and accredited contract laboratories.• Lead the manufacturing interface with cultivation and post-harvest at Collie: drying, curing, trimming, packing and controlled storage so material entering manufacture meets specification.• Commission, qualify and maintain manufacturing equipment, HVAC, dehumidification, water systems, packing lines and warehouse infrastructure at both sites.• Build and lead production, engineering and warehouse teams in Perth and Collie; set KPIs, training, safety and a no-excuses operating culture.• Support B2B and export contracts: quality agreements, client audits, batch documentation and on-time release for Australian and EU/UK partners.• Work with the wider leadership group on capex, grant-funded expansion, automation and the premium branded product range.What you will manage• Newly established GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in Perth.• The pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Collie.• GMP manufacturing rooms and extraction / formulation lines at both sites.• Post-harvest and packing operations feeding manufacture.• Warehouse, controlled-substance storage and dispatch.• Engineering and maintenance of GMP-critical plant.• Licence, permit and inspection readiness, in partnership with Compliance and Quality Control.Essential requirements• Senior leadership in GMP pharmaceutical or medicinal cannabis manufacturing.
