About The Role
Allied Health Assistants play a vital role in the provision of high-quality client care in Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD).
You will provide assistance and support to the team in the facilitation of a broad range of psycho-educational groups and 1:1 work under the supervision of an Allied Health professional or registered nurse. You will be expected to work with others in providing quality clinical services to our mental health consumers, their families and carers.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate
Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or) equivalent tertiary qualification (or) formal commitment to complete this training within 3 years of employment (and) willingness to complete required skill sets.Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of the concept and principles of mental health recovery and commitment to implementing a strengths-based model of care designed to facilitate consumer recovery.Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.Ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and complete activities as delegated by the supervising Allied Health Professional.
