Warehouse Manager

Cut Fresh Salads is a fast-paced company specialising in the production and supply of ready-to-eat salads and fresh vegetable products for the fast-food industry.

We are currently looking for an energetic Warehouse Manager to join our small team at Berrinba to manage the day to day operations of the warehouse and support our procurement efforts. 

The Job:

• Working in a chilled environment (1-4 degrees)

• Early morning shift work (between 2.00am to 9.00am)

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control and floor productivity.

• Ensure that facility equipment is properly maintained. 

• Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facility, communicating with drivers and 3rd party DC to ensure efficient delivery. 

• Stock ordering and forecasting. 

• Monitor inventory levels and reorder points and place orders to replenish stock in a timely manner.

• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts. 

• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices. 

• The candidate will also be responsible for overseeing Saturday operations and managing incoming truck deliveries that may arrive outside normal trading hours.

Criteria:

• Current forklift license.

• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role. 

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce.

• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and logistics processes.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritise competing demands.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organisation.

• Thorough understanding and commitment to OH&S

• Computer literacy

• Ability to work in a chilled environment.
