Wiseway Logistics (WWG) is an ASX listed fast growing international freight forwarding company, operating in 10 cities across 5 countries. We have been providing our substantial client base with all rounded freight and logistics services, such as international air and sea freight, customs clearance, warehouse storage and domestic transportation.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join our dynamic team in one of our Brisbane office. As a graduate Logistics Officer, you will be an integral part of our global operations, where you will have the opportunity to learn and grow, handle key responsibilities such as coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with international regulations. In this role, you will be playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of various aspects of logistics.
Comprehensive training will be provided to equip the selected candidate with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role. This opportunity will give you exposure to international freight and logistics industry and can pave the way to a longer-term career within the global logistics field.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Liaising with major airlines, freight forwarders, customers and suppliers to coordinate imports shipments.
Managing, compiling, and processing all imports documentation and bookings.
Liaising with internal departments to solve supplier enquiries and any billing issues which may arise.
Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Assisting in liaising with ground handlers to ensure clear loading instructions are provided for each flight respectively.
Support to managers for other operational duties.
Skills & Requirements:
Valid Driver Licence and access to a car (Essential).
Have completed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum credit average (ideally graduated 2023-2024, or expecting to graduate in 2025).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Good time management and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
Have an enthusiastic approach to self-management and be proactive in all situations.
Have a qualification in one of the following disciplines will be highly regarded: Logistics, Supply Chain, Aviation, Transport, Business and Commerce, Sales, or Marketing.
Australian citizen, permanent resident, NZ citizen or have a valid visa with unrestricted working rights, and currently reside in Australia.
