Supply & Production Planner (Pharma)

We’re looking for a Supply & Production Planner to join our Supply Chain team at Phebra, playing a key role in keeping our manufacturing and product supply running smoothly.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be at the centre of our planning and supply activities – working across Production, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Quality, Engineering, Finance and external suppliers to keep everything moving from forecast through to finished product.

What you'll be doing

 This is a hands-on planning role with plenty of variety. You’ll be responsible for: 

• Planning & scheduling – run MRP, develop production plans and manage production schedules to balance customer demand, capacity and available resources.

• Materials & procurement – ensure raw materials, components and finished products are available when required, identifying and resolving shortages before they impact production.

• Production coordination – create and maintain production and packaging work orders in SAP and facilitate regular planning meetings with key internal teams.

• Supplier & CMO management – coordinate supply forecasts and orders for contract manufacturers and in-licensed products, while building strong supplier relationships and monitoring performance.

• Inventory management – maintain appropriate stock levels across finished goods, raw materials, components and WIP, including managing slow-moving and obsolete stock.

• Freight & logistics – coordinate local and international freight for materials and products, including required documentation, permits and licences.

• Reporting & insights – use supply chain data to identify trends, monitor DIFOT, stock cover and expiry, and provide meaningful reports to support decision-making.

• Continuous improvement – identify opportunities to improve supply chain systems, processes and efficiency, and help deliver projects and initiatives across the department.

• New product introduction – support new products by establishing Bills of Materials, Item Master Data and planning parameters within SAP.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate would be someone who can think outside of the box, be pragmatic and solutions-oriented and who is agile and flexible in approach as well as having the following capabilities and skills:   

• Over 5 years’ experience within Supply Chain, Scheduling or Procurement within a manufacturing business environment (essential)

• Over 5 years’ experience of Supply Chain Planning experience in an ERP/MRPII environment, using SAP/JDE software.

• Possess a tertiary qualification in Supply Chain & Logistics, Procurement (though strong industry experience will be equally favourable)

• Strong technical skills with Excel, Pivot tables, Vlookup.

• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.

• Demonstrated ability relating to adaptability to change

• Experience in Project Management (Desirable)

• APICS Certification – CPIM or other tertiary education (Desirable)
