BYD Sales Consultant Trainee

About the role

As a BYD Sales Consultant Trainee, you will join Curtis Coast Automotive's growing team in Gladstone to represent one of the world's fastest-growing automotive brands. You will help local customers discover the benefits of BYD's electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, with full product training and ongoing support provided.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers into our BYD showroom

• Learn the complete BYD electric and plug-in hybrid range

• Understand each customer's needs and recommend suitable vehicles

• Demonstrate vehicle technology and features

• Conduct professional test drives

• Assist customers throughout the sales and delivery process

• Follow up enquiries and build lasting customer relationships

• Help customers understand how an electrified vehicle may reduce their petrol or diesel costs

• Represent BYD and Curtis Coast Automotive at local displays and events

• Work towards individual and dealership sales targets

• Friendly, confident and comfortable speaking with people

• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service

• Reliable, well-presented and professional

• Someone with an amazing work ethic and excellent time-management skills

• Motivated to learn and develop a long-term career

• Comfortable using computers, phones and social media

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Holder of a current Australian driver's licence
