Diesel Mechanic

About the role

Sandridge Roads Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Dalmore, VIC. This is a full-time role working under our Workshop Manager. A company vehicle will be provided.

What you'll be doing

• Perform scheduled maintenance, servicing and repairs on diesel-powered plant machinery, trucks and equipment.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other components

• Test and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance

• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure equipment is well-maintained and available for use

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Automotive Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry

• Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems

• A positive, team-oriented attitude
