About the role

We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker Fabricator to join our team at ATB Metal Fab' in Coopers Plains, Queensland. This is a full-time role where you will play a vital part in the fabrication and installation of high-quality metal structures and components. Our main line of Work is Structural steel and Metalwork for Schools, Universities and Government projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate parts with precision.

2. Perform Fabrication of structural steel and Metalwork.

3. Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards

4. Become important part of a small team.

5. Maintain a clean and organised work area.

What we're looking for

1. Trade-qualified Boilermaker with experience in a similar role.

2. Proficient in reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.

3. Skilled in operating a variety of welding equipment, including MIG and sometimes stick welding

4. Competent in the use of power tools and hand tools for metal fabrication

5. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to a high standard of quality

6. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

7. Commitment to workplace health and safety

8. Be able to get work done in a timely manner

9. Some site work from time to time.
