Workshop Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Mobile Plant Mechanic

We're currently seeking an experienced Workshop Technician to join our Rental Fleet team in Truganina, Victoria.

This is a hands-on workshop role supporting a fleet of approximately 120 rental machines. You'll be responsible for servicing, repairing, refurbishing and rebuilding equipment to ensure it is safely returned to service and ready to support our customers.

A significant portion of your work will involve machine return inspections, delivery inspections, fleet servicing, major and minor repairs, refurbishment projects and end-of-life machine rebuilds. You'll gain exposure across a variety of construction, utility, quarry and selected mining equipment.

Working within a supportive team environment, you'll play a key role in maintaining fleet reliability while delivering work to Komatsu's industry-leading safety and quality standards.

Roster: Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:00pm with monthly RDO

Annualised Wages: $43.93 - $49.69 per hour + Super + Overtime (Double time)

What we are looking for:

Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel, Mobile Plant, Truck Mechanics, Road Transport, Light Vehicle or similar.Experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment.Experience working on earthmoving equipment, mobile plant, trucks or trailers highly regarded.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment. Computer and technology literacy.
