Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic

We are currently seeking trade qualified and experienced Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic to join workshop based at Rodeo Road, Gregory Hills NSW 2557. Navin Enterprises Pty Ltd, trading as Bridgestone Gregory Hills is an auto mechanical service and tyre retailer in Australia.

Currently we have one vacancy at our workshop based at Unit 2/35 Rodeo Road, Gregory Hills NSW 2557.

About The Role

As a Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

• Providing high-quality servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles

• Identifying mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.

• Performing routine maintenance, including oil changes and brake inspections, as well as more complex repairs such as engine rebuilds, transmission overhauls, and replacement of worn or damaged components.

• Diagnosing and assessing tyre wear and damage.

• Fitting tyres, carrying out tyre rotations, and performing wheel alignments.

• Following workplace health and safety procedures and industry standards, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe disposal of hazardous materials.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification).

• At least one year of full-time post-qualification experience as an Automotive Mechanic.

• The ability to work independently and efficiently.

• A current Australian driver's licence.

• Excellent time management and communication skills.

• A motivated, reliable and professional attitude.

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

• Excellent attention to detail.

Salary

·       Salary in the range of $80,000 to $88,000 per annum plus, superannuation

·       Ongoing training and support

 Hours of Work

Full Time - 38 hours per week- Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5pm

                                             Saturday 8.00am to 12pm(overtime)
