These are full-time, permanent positions. Salary Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $95,000 plus superannuation, depending on the position, qualifications and experience. About the Role As a Chef within Australian Venue Co., you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food while maintaining exceptional food safety and kitchen standards. Depending on the position, responsibilities may include:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting food to a consistently high standard.
• Assisting with menu planning and development.
• Supervising and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
• Managing kitchen operations during service.
• Monitoring food quality, consistency and portion control.
• Ordering, receiving and managing stock and kitchen supplies.
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and WHS standards.
• Managing food costs, wastage and kitchen efficiencies.
• Working collaboratively with venue management to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Leadership responsibilities will increase in line with seniority of the role. About You To be successful, you will demonstrate:

• Relevant experience in a commercial kitchen appropriate to the level of the position.
• Strong knowledge of modern food preparation techniques.
• The ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A positive attitude and passion for hospitality.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Applicants should have one or more of the following:

• Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent); and/or
• Demonstrated commercial chef experience relevant to the position.
