Start your career as an Agricultural Service Technician Apprentice and earn a nationally recognised Certificate III in Agricultural Mechanical Technology (AUR30420) based at AFGRI Equipment's Esperance branch.

The apprenticeship is scheduled to officially commence face-to-face training in 2027.

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, successful apprentices progress into Service Technician roles within AFGRI Equipment.

Your Role - What You'll Learn and Do

• Work in a professional dealership workshop supporting agricultural and construction machinery

• Assist with servicing, maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of modern equipment

• Support reliable machine performance for customers

• Maintain accurate service records and documentation

• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and drive systems

• Work across braking, steering, cooling, fuel, and emission systems

• Assist with inspection, disassembly, and rebuild of machinery

• Work with electronic control and monitoring systems

• Assist with integrated hydraulic and electronic systems and diagnostics

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of Year 12, preferably at an agricultural college

• Demonstrated enthusiasm for the agricultural industry and machinery

• Strong willingness to learn and contribute to a dynamic team environment
