The Role:

Our Packaged Division Specialises in storing bulk quantities of palletised packaged cement and hydrated lime bags ready for distribution to building sites and hardware warehouses.

This is a fulltime role and the successful candidate will be required to oversee the receival & storage of products and prepare customer orders ready for shipping, with the ability to perform multiple pickups and deliveries across the metro area. 

• Monday – Friday

• Approx. 50 hours a week

You will be responsible for:

• Deliveries/pickups across the metro area 

• Receiving and despatching packaged items

• Forklift operations – Loading and unloading product

• Conducting daily Pre-Starts

• Ensuring a safe working environment and ensuring housekeeping procedures are implemented and maintained.

• Supporting the Packaged Manager with the operations of the warehouse

To be considered for this role, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following;

• Holds a valid HC 

• Holds a valid High Risk Licence (FL)

• Solid Forklift experience.

• Solid driving record

• General Freight experience (min 1 year)

• Ability to be able to work unassisted

• Ability to understand and adhere to OH & S Procedures

• Sound knowledge of Perth industrial areas

• Ability to work in a team-based environment;

• Ability to work towards individual and team-based performance targets;

• Ability to work safely during manual handling activities;

• Willingness to perform ad-hoc overtime;

• Willingness to undergo medical examination - inclusive of Drug and Alcohol screening.

Additional requirements for the roles will include:

• A Copy of online Driver Fatigue Test (WA)

• Experience with site delivers and truck mounted forklift (desirable)

• National Police Clearance

• Current Commercial Driver Medical

• Load Restraint Course (desirable)
