Forklift Operator - Wingfield Location

We are seeking reliable, motivated, and safety-focused individuals to support our warehouse operations through efficient forklift operation and general warehouse duties. Based at our Wingfield facility, this role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, teamwork, and operational excellence are key priorities.

Shift Time:

• 11am to 7:06pm Monday to Friday

• Weekend work available

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate counterbalance forklifts to load and unload vehicles.

• Move freight to and from designated warehouse and storage locations.

• Accurately load vehicles in accordance with load sheets and operational requirements.

• Use load restraint and stabilisation equipment as required to ensure safe transport of freight.

• Verify and record fridge motor temperatures prior to vehicle departure.

• Work effectively within cold storage and temperature-controlled environments.

• Conduct routine pre-start equipment checks and report any faults or safety concerns.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.

• Comply with all workplace health and safety procedures, company policies, and operational requirements.

• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Skills & Experience

The candidates we are looking for:

• Current High Risk Forklift Licence (LF).

• Previous warehouse and forklift operating experience.

• Minimum 1+ years of experience loading and unloading trailers is required.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

• Experience working in a cold storage environment will be highly regarded.

• Experience using RF scanning equipment is advantageous but not essential.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet operational deadlines.

• Reliable attendance record and a positive, proactive attitude.
