The Role: We are seeking dynamic and dedicated Diploma Qualified Educators to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate educational programs that support the growth and well-being of the children in our care. You will work collaboratively with a team of educators and play a key role in creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.
Village Early Education is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. We understand our responsibilities and statutory duty of care and are committed to raising awareness about the importance of child safety in our organisation and our communities, which is essential for promoting healthy and safe learning environments for children.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement educational programs that reflect the interests and developmental needs of the children.
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Observe and document children’s progress and development, using this information to inform planning and support individual needs.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Collaborate with the team to enhance the center’s educational practices and policies.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications and Skills:
A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification).
Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong understanding of early childhood development and education frameworks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
A genuine passion for supporting and nurturing young children’s learning and development.
