Security Platform Engineer (Google SecOps & BindPlane)

We’re seeking a Security Platform Engineer to operate and enhance our security telemetry and analytics platforms, with a focus on Google SecOps (SIEM/SOAR) and BindPlane. You’ll ensure reliable data ingestion, platform stability, and seamless delivery to support detection engineering, incident response, and threat hunting.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and optimise Google SecOps SIEM & SOAR environments.Configure and maintain BindPlane collectors and telemetry pipelines.Ensure data quality, reliability, and scalable ingestion architectures.Automate updates via CI/CD, with Python/Terraform adjustments.Provide incident support and collaborate with SOC, cloud, and security teams.
Required Skills5+ years with Google SecOps SIEM/SOAR.Expertise in BindPlane or similar ingestion tools.Strong knowledge of log formats, parsing, and routing.Cloud experience (GCP, AWS, Azure).Familiarity with CI/CD, Python, Terraform.Incident support and cross-team collaboration.
PreferredExperience with BigQuery or cloud analytics.Understanding of detection engineering.SOC/security engineering background.Relevant Google Cloud or SecOps certifications.
