Diversional Therapist / Lifestyle Coordinator – Aged Care Permanent Opportunity | Sydney – Approx. 8km North of CBD
Are you an experienced Diversional Therapist or Lifestyle Coordinator looking for your next permanent opportunity?

Noverity is currently recruiting for an experienced lifestyle professional to join a high-quality aged care and retirement living environment located approximately 8km north of Sydney CBD.

This role would suit someone who is confident developing and delivering engaging lifestyle programs for older people and has previous experience supporting people living with dementia.

The Role You will be responsible for creating and coordinating meaningful individual and group activities that support residents' wellbeing, independence and social connection.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering individual and group lifestyle activities
• Developing programs around residents' interests, abilities and individual needs
• Providing engaging activities for people living with dementia
• Building strong relationships with residents and their families
• Monitoring participation and adapting programs where required
• Maintaining relevant documentation and progress notes
• Working alongside the wider care and wellbeing team
• Assisting with larger activities, events and community initiatives

About You To be considered, you will need:

• Certificate IV in Leisure & Health / Leisure & Lifestyle, Diversional Therapy or a related qualification
• Previous experience in aged care, retirement living or community care
• Experience working with people living with dementia
• A genuine passion for improving the lives of older people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisation and ability to work independently
• Current First Aid & CPR
• National Police Check
• Australian Driver Licence
• Full Australian working rights
