Building Manager - Pyrmont & Mascot

Premium Building Management is seeking an experienced Building Manager to manage two well-presented residential buildings across Pyrmont and Mascot, comprising 24 and 44 apartments respectively.

This is a varied and rewarding role offering the opportunity to build strong relationships with residents, strata committees, contractors and strata managers, while taking ownership of the day-to-day organisation and ongoing management of both buildings.

With fixed Monday to Friday hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, this position also offers an attractive work-life balance.

Our Building Managers receive ongoing training and support to help them effectively manage day-to-day operations, building projects and stakeholder relationships. This position is ideally suited to an experienced Building Manager with excellent communication, relationship management and organisational skills.

You will oversee the day-to-day operations of both buildings, coordinate contractors and maintenance requirements, support ongoing projects, manage resident matters and ensure committees remain well informed.

The diversity of managing two residential communities makes this an engaging role for someone who enjoys working with people while maintaining a highly organised and proactive approach to building operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with residents, strata committees, contractors and strata managers.

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of both residential buildings.

• Organise routine maintenance, repairs, contractors and building projects.

• Keep committees informed through clear communication, reporting and regular updates.

• Conduct regular building inspections and coordinate resident move-ins and move-outs.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure tasks are followed through to completion.
  

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:

• A minimum of three years' experience in Building Management, preferably within residential strata.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to comfortably manage priorities across two buildings.

• A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach to day-to-day building management.

• Confidence working collaboratively with residents, committees, contractors and other stakeholders.

• A professional and reliable approach, with pride in providing a high standard of service.
