About the role

Delia Group is seeking experienced and talented Chefs to join the team at our acclaimed Maha Restaurant in the heart of Melbourne. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering exceptional contemporary Middle Eastern cuisine in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a range of Middle Eastern dishes to the highest standard

• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment

• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

• Collaborating with the Head Chef to refine and develop the menu

• Mentoring and training junior kitchen staff

• Ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to specification

• Contributing to a positive and productive team culture

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef in a high-quality restaurant environment

• Strong knowledge and passion for Middle Eastern cuisine

• Excellent time management and multitasking skills

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards

• Relevant cookery qualification or certification
