About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced MR Driver to join our established delivery team. This role involves multi-drop deliveries of steel products to residential construction sites across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

This is a physically demanding role with early starts, regular driving in high-volume traffic, and deliveries to logistically challenging sites. It will suit someone who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. An immediate start is available for a suitable candidate following a successful interview process.

On-the-job training and support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to residential construction sites

• Safely load, secure, and unload steel products

• Operate vehicles in accordance with road safety and company procedures

• Use vehicle-mounted cranes where required

• Complete delivery paperwork and communicate with customers and internal teams

• Maintain high safety and compliance standards at all times

About you

• Current MR Licence

• Construction Induction (White Card), or willingness to obtain

• Experience in multi-drop delivery work (preferred)

• Dogging Licence, or willingness to undertake training

• Strong driving history and safety record

• Good knowledge of Melbourne and surrounding regions

• Experience operating a vehicle-mounted crane (advantageous)

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and problem-solve

• Solid understanding of safety requirements relating to heavy vehicles, load restraint, and unloading
