Koppen Construction is seeking an experienced Final Trim Excavator Operator to join our growing team. This role involves working on projects both local and remote.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 5 years' experience operating excavators in the civil construction industry.

• Willing to work on remote projects as well as local Cairns region

• Proven ability to carry out final trim work to a high standard.

• Experience excavating deep trenches for pipe installation and backfilling.

• Experience using TOPCON GPS machine guidance systems (preferred).

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

• The ability to complete daily plant pre-start inspections.

• Sound understanding of and compliance with Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).

• The ability to follow directions and work effectively within a team.

• Relevant machinery operator tickets/licences.

• Construction White Card.

• Current driver's licence and reliable transport to site.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
