As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Coordinator to join our team in a permanent part-time role (3 days per week).

This position is ideal for an experienced HR professional seeking greater work-life balance or a retiree looking to stay engaged in a meaningful and rewarding role.

We're looking for someone who is adaptable, organised, and enjoys working with people. Whether your background is in HR, payroll, administration, or people management, we'd love to hear what you can bring to our team.

About the Role

Reporting directly to management, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day people and HR functions of the business. This hands-on role offers variety and autonomy while providing the opportunity to make a genuine impact within a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with payroll administration and maintain accurate employee records

• Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising, screening applications, and scheduling interviews

• Manage onboarding and induction processes for new employees

• Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

• Maintain training records and compliance documentation

• Support roster administration, employment contracts, and personnel files

• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters

• Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and workplace standards

• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaged workplace culture

• Previous experience in Human Resources, Payroll, People & Culture, Administration, or a similar role

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Knowledge of workplace compliance

Desirable

• HR qualifications or equivalent industry experience

• Experience working in a small business environment

• Payroll administration experience

• Experience supporting recruitment and employee relations activities
