About the Role

MCA Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Site Supervisor – Mining Projects and Shutdowns to join our Parkes operation. This is a hands-on, site based role responsible for supervising shutdowns, maintenance activities, and small-scale projects across local mining and industrial operations.

Working closely with clients, site teams, and subcontractors, you will oversee daily activities, coordinate resources, and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The role is primarily based in Parkes, with occasional travel required to support projects across Australia.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Plan and supervise shutdowns and small project works
• Oversee daily site activities and lead site crews
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Support business development activities and maintain client relationships
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope
• Coordinate tradespeople and subcontractors across multiple work fronts

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a Project Supervisor, Site Supervisor, or similar role
• Trade qualification with a minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience
• Proven ability to manage construction, maintenance, or shutdown projects
• Strong planning, scheduling, and organisational skills
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Experience in underground mining or heavy industry preferred
