Building Estimator

Overview

Due to continued expansion a new role has been created with a building contractor who is looking for a Building Estimator to join their established team. 

You will be estimating, cost planning and doing design reviews for limited negotiated submissions and hard dollar tenders. Projects are across several markets including education, commercial, retail, hospitality and health projects ranging from $0.5 M to $30 M. The company has a reputation for often taking on and successfully completing very technically challenging construction projects.

The estimating team work closely with the construction team to come up with interesting and innovative ideas on how to build smartly. If you are an Estimator who loves the building industry, enjoys being part of the crucial planning stages and enjoys adding value you will absolutely love working for this company.

The ideal person will have a local knowledge and a network of subcontractors. You will often be client facing in your role and will regularly attend tender meetings with the Estimating Manager. You must be a confident communicator, professional and well presented.
