Active Allied Health Australia
About the role
Help people live more independently — while building a career that works for you.
Active Allied Health Australia is growing, and we are looking for two passionate Occupational Therapists to join our multidisciplinary team.

Why Join Active Allied Health?
At Active Allied Health, we believe that good occupational therapy is about more than completing assessments and writing reports.
It is about understanding the person, their environment, their goals and the barriers affecting their independence — then developing practical solutions that make a real difference.
You will have the opportunity to work directly with clients in their homes and communities while having the flexibility and support to manage your work effectively.
What you can expect:
$110,000 annual salary + superannuation + KMs reimbursed
Laptop provided
Mobile phone provided
Ongoing professional development
Support from experienced and approachable management
Multidisciplinary allied health environment
Opportunity for career development as our organisation grows
Meaningful community-based work
We want our clinicians to feel supported and trusted to do their best work.
You will be supported to manage your caseload when you need it.
About the Role
As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will work with NDIS participants and Support at Home clients to improve independence, safety, participation and quality of life.
Your work will take place primarily in clients' homes and community environments, allowing you to understand the challenges clients experience in their everyday lives and provide practical, clinically appropriate solutions.
Your caseload may include clients with a range of disabilities, functional limitations, ageing-related needs and complex support requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Conducting Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs)
Completing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessments
Preparing NDIS plan review and change-of-circumstances reports
Assessing functional capacity, safety and independence
Assessing and recommending assistive technology and equipment
Conducting home safety and accessibility assessments
Recommending minor home modifications
Liaising with builders, equipment suppliers and other service providers

Educating clients, families and carers
Preparing high-quality clinical and NDIS reports
Maintaining accurate and timely progress notes and client records
Collaborating with support coordinators, NDIS planners, support workers, families and other professionals
Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary allied health team
