About the role

MS43 Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Scaffolder to join our sub-contracting team on a casual basis. This position is based in Carole Park, QLD 4300, and offers flexibility with early starts for an early finish.

As a Scaffolder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient work environments across our residential projects. Your expertise in erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding systems will be essential to maintaining safety standards and supporting project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Erect, inspect, modify and dismantle scaffolding systems in accordance with Australian Standards and site safety requirements

• Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to determine scaffolding specifications and configurations

• Conduct regular safety inspections of scaffolding structures to identify and rectify hazards

• Secure scaffolding components using appropriate fastening techniques and materials

• Ensure all scaffolding work complies with relevant health and safety legislation and company policies

• Maintain accurate records of scaffolding installations, modifications and inspections

• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, engineers and other trades personnel regarding scaffolding requirements and safety protocols

• Transport and store scaffolding materials and equipment appropriately

• Perform preventative maintenance on scaffolding equipment to ensure operational integrity

What we're looking for

• Current Scaffolder licence or relevant experience working as a scaffolder on construction sites

• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards for scaffolding

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

• Excellent understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements in construction

• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces safely and confidently

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Physical fitness and ability to perform correct manual handling techniques

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Truck licence - desirable but not essential
