About the role
About us
Benjamin Health is a premium Australian telehealth group built around a simple idea: patients shouldn't have to repeat their story every time they see a new provider. Our shared patient identity model allows people to move seamlessly across divisions — men's health, women's health, medicinal cannabis and integrative medicine, and mental wellbeing — without starting from scratch each time. We're a considered, clinically-led alternative to the high-volume telehealth model. Small, senior clinical team. Real continuity of care. A brand patients actually trust.
What we offer
Flexible, remote telehealth work — set your own availability
A clinically-led, premium brand with strong patient trust and organic growth
Modern digital tooling built specifically for telehealth prescribing workflows
Direct access to a small, engaged clinical and advisory team
Competitive consultation-based remuneration
About the role
An AHPRA-registered medical practitioner holding Authorised Prescriber status to join the clinical team on a flexible, telehealth basis. You'll consult with patients across our clinic, with a particular focus on medicinal cannabis prescribing for the medicinal cannabis and integrative medicine division. This is an opportunity to practise thoughtful, patient-centred medicine — proper consultations, real clinical judgement, no script-mill pressure — inside a growing, premium-positioned group.
Key responsibilities
Conduct telehealth consultations with new and returning patients
Assess and prescribe within your scope, including medicinal cannabis where clinically appropriate
Maintain accurate, timely clinical records within the patient portal
Complete Safe Scripts checks in line with state/territory requirements
Work collaboratively with clinical governance and compliance framework
Uphold AHPRA's Good Medical Practice standards and clinical protocols across divisions
About you
AHPRA registration in good standing, with Authorised Prescriber (AP) status
Medicinal cannabis prescribing experience strongly preferred (TGA SAS-B pathway experience a plus)
Comfortable working within a structured telehealth environment and digital patient portal
Holds current professional indemnity insurance in your own right
Strong communicator, comfortable with patients who may be new to certain treatment pathways
Values clinical integrity over volume — you'd rather do fewer consultations well than many quickly
Experience in men's health, women's health, hormonal health, or mental health highly regarded but not essential
