Help us build and grow our nursing services business

We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and commercially driven Business Development Manager to help us significantly grow our nursing services business across Melbourne.

This is not a traditional account management role. We are looking for someone who is passionate about winning new business, building relationships and creating new opportunities.

You will be given the opportunity to develop your own networks, identify new markets and referral pathways, and grow the nursing business across multiple streams.

What you will do:

You will take an active role in growing our nursing services by:

• Building relationships with Support at Home (SAH) providers and helping us become a preferred nursing service provider

• Developing strong relationships with NDIS providers, support coordinators, plan managers and participants

• Building referral pathways with hospitals, discharge planners and hospital-based teams

• Developing relationships with GPs, allied health professionals, aged care organisations and other healthcare providers

• Identifying new nursing service opportunities across Melbourne

• Exploring and developing new business streams for our nursing services

• Generating new leads, converting opportunities and growing recurring revenue

• Building and managing a strong business development pipeline

• Visiting referral partners and actively developing professional relationships

• Working closely with our clinical and operations teams to ensure opportunities are converted into quality services

• Taking ownership of business growth and working towards agreed revenue and performance targets

Performance and earning potential

We offer a base salary of $80,000 + super, with a strong performance-based bonus opportunity and OTE of approximately $120,000+.

The more you grow the business and achieve your agreed KPIs, the more you can earn.

We are looking for someone who is prepared to work hard, build relationships, create opportunities and take ownership of their results.

This role will suit someone who is motivated by performance and wants their income to reflect the value they bring to the business.

You may come from a background in:

• Healthcare business development

• Nursing or community nursing

• Aged care

• Support at Home

• NDIS

• Allied health

• Hospital or healthcare sales

• Community services

• B2B business development or sales

Healthcare industry experience will be highly regarded, but a strong sales mindset and proven ability to generate business are equally important.

You should be:

* Confident and professional when meeting new people

* Excellent at building genuine business relationships

* Proactive and comfortable creating your own opportunities

* Commercially minded and results focused

* Highly motivated and hungry to succeed

* Comfortable working independently

* Organised and capable of managing a sales pipeline

* Confident approaching organisations and asking for business

* Comfortable travelling across Melbourne

* Able to demonstrate previous success in business development or sales
