WILLCUK PTY LTD COOK – FULL-TIME Employer: WILLCUK PTY LTD Location: 67 Moreland Road, Coburg VIC 3058 Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $79,500 per annum + superannuation   About the Business WILLCUK PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team at our restaurant located at 67 Moreland Road, Coburg VIC 3058 . The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of dishes, maintaining consistent food quality and presentation, and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and restaurant standards.

Prepare ingredients, sauces, marinades, curries, gravies and other kitchen components. Assist with daily food preparation and kitchen operations. Ensure food is prepared and cooked to the required quality and presentation standards.

Monitor cooking temperatures, cooking times and portion sizes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.

Assist with stock rotation, storage and inventory control. Minimise food wastage and maintain appropriate portion control. Work efficiently during busy service periods.

Assist senior kitchen staff with kitchen preparation and service. Maintain consistency and quality across all dishes. Work cooperatively with chefs and other kitchen staff.

Qualifications & Experience The successful applicant must have: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification; Minimum 1 year of relevant commercial kitchen experience; Sound knowledge of food preparation and commercial cooking techniques; Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements; Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced commercial kitchen; Strong communication and teamwork skills; Strong attention to detail; Reliability and a strong work ethic; and Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
