ERP Functional Consultant PP and PS- Project System, QM – Quality Management

We are seeking an experienced SAP QM / PP / PS Functional Consultant to join a dynamic team supporting and enhancing Quality Management, Production Planning, and Project Systems capabilities within a complex SAP S/4HANA environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting business-critical operations while contributing to SAP transformation, optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver scalable solutions that drive operational excellence across manufacturing and project delivery functions.

Reporting to the SAP Technical Manager, you will:

• Provide functional consulting, support, and configuration expertise across SAP Quality Management (QM), Production Planning (PP), and Project Systems (PS) modules.
• Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
• Configure and support manufacturing, production planning, quality management, and project execution processes.
• Support Material Requirements Planning (MRP), demand management, capacity planning, production scheduling, production orders, and manufacturing execution.
• Manage quality inspections, quality notifications, and non-conformance management processes.
• Support and maintain master data including Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, work centres, and planning data.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis, workshops, and process improvement initiatives.
• Manage incidents, service requests, enhancements, and change requests across the SAP landscape.
• Develop functional specifications, documentation, training materials, and user guides.
• Participate in testing, deployment, cutover, release management, and SAP upgrade activities.
• Ensure effective integration with SAP MM, EWM, FI/CO, and other enterprise systems.
• Provide ongoing BAU support and contribute to continuous improvement programs.

About You

You are a highly experienced SAP Functional Consultant with strong expertise across manufacturing, quality, and project delivery processes. You thrive in a client-facing environment and enjoy solving complex business challenges through technology.

Essential Experience

• Significant experience in SAP Project Systems (PS).
• Experience delivering at least three full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong experience with:
• SAP Production Planning (PP)
• SAP Quality Management (QM)
• SAP Project Systems (PS)
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Capacity planning and production execution
• Quality inspections and quality notifications
• Experience supporting integrations between SAP and external cloud or on-premises systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholder groups.

Desirable Experience

• SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and/or On-Premises implementation experience.
• Experience within manufacturing, defence, utilities, infrastructure, engineering, or other asset-intensive industries.
• Experience working within large-scale SAP transformation programs.

Qualifications

• SAP Certification in:
• Project Systems (PS)
• Production Planning (PP)
• Quality Management (QM)

Due to the nature of this role:

• Applicants must be Australian Citizens.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance (minimum Baseline level).
