Consultant (Property Research)

Charter Keck Cramer is a Strategic Property Advisory Firm, engaging 150 employees throughout its Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Singapore offices. The firm provides a wide range of property services across Research, Advisory, Valuations, Projects and Capital.

Position Overview

Charter is seeking a full-time Consultant to join its Sydney Research team. Reporting to a Director, this position will undertake a broad range of consulting tasks, including the preparation of high-quality research reports and strategic advice for clients.

Core Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive and innovative research and analysis to assist the team in delivering robust evidence-based advice to clients

• Provide critical thinking and analysis on a range of qualitative and quantitative data sources and information

• Prepare and develop high quality, comprehensive written reports, presentations, and other outputs

• Attend client briefings, document project parameters and provide ongoing consultation including in relation to timeframes.

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders and clients

• Continue to develop property market knowledge and remain abreast of current financial and economic developments.

Position Requirements

• Qualifications in Property, Economics or a related degree

• 3+ years Experience in a Property, Economics or Planning consulting environment

• Extensive understanding of the national property market and its sub sectors 

• Excellent property market research and data analysis capability

• Experience in client facing roles (internal & external)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent report writing skills

• Disciplined and organised with strong attention to detail
