About the role

As a Senior Sourcing Officer, you’ll be a key player in driving strategic procurement success across the City. In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage category planning, sourcing strategies, and end-to-end procurement activities
• Work on procurement activities of various risk and complexity including needs and market analysis, strategy development, tendering activities, evaluations, and negotiations, various contractual suite formations and award.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder and supplier relationships and to drive effective outcomes
• Attention to detail and information gathering, data accuracy competence in navigating procurement systems (eg SAP, Ready Contracts, Vendor Panel)
• Mentoring, training, and managing portfolio tender pipeline.

This role requires mid to senior-level procurement experience, with proven ability to delivery multiple end to end procurement activities simultaneously. Government / Local Government is desirable.
