Berrigan Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from enthusiastic and community-minded individuals to join our casual pool lifeguard team for the upcoming 2026/2027 swimming season.

As a Pool Lifeguard, you will play an important role in ensuring a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

Duties include:

• Supervising pool users and maintaining a safe aquatic environment.
• Responding to emergencies and administering first aid when required.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Assisting with the presentation and cleanliness of pool facilities.
• Undertaking routine operational and safety checks.

What we’re looking for:

• Current Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or equivalent).
• Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011).
• Current Provide CPR (HLTAID009).
• NSW Working with Children Check.
• Make your mark and help shape a safer, cleaner, and more connected community.
• Availability to work weekdays, weekends, public holidays and varied shifts throughout the pool season.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
