Financial Controllor

Lead Finance. Drive Performance. Support Strategy.

Caloundra RSL Services Club Ltd is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our Finance team and provide strategic financial advice that supports one of the Sunshine Coast's leading community clubs.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this senior leadership role is responsible for financial management, governance, budgeting, compliance, reporting, commercial analysis and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Working closely with the General Manager and Board of Directors, you will provide accurate financial insight that supports informed decision making while leading a high performing Finance team.

What you'll be responsible for

• Leading the Finance department.

• Preparing monthly Board and management reports.

• Budgeting and forecasting.

• Cashflow management.

• Financial and statutory reporting.

• Taxation and compliance.

• Enterprise risk and internal financial controls.

• Commercial analysis and business case development.

• Financial systems and business intelligence.

• Developing and mentoring the Finance team.

About you

You'll be a collaborative finance leader who enjoys partnering with operational leaders and turning financial information into practical business decisions.

You will possess:

• CPA or CA qualification.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.

• Extensive experience leading finance teams.

• Strong budgeting and reporting capability.

• Excellent commercial and analytical skills.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience within hospitality, community clubs, tourism or gaming will be highly regarded.
