Waste Collection Driver

About the role

This is a hands-on driving role focused on the safe and efficient collection and transport of waste across local runs.

Key responsibilities

• Operate waste collection vehicles safely and efficiently, including front lift, rear lift, hook lift or side loader vehicles as required.
• Complete daily vehicle pre-starts and basic safety checks.
• Follow all workplace health, safety and site procedures.
• Complete run sheets and required collection documentation accurately.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and site contacts.

About you

• Current HR driver licence.
• Good driving record and a strong commitment to safe driving.
• Reliable, punctual and safety focused.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a practical, outdoor role.
• Waste industry or front lift experience is highly regarded.
• A current medical certificate confirming fitness for work will be required before commencement.
• Drivers are subject to workplace drug testing in accordance with D-Waste requirements.
