Assistant Warehouse Manager

Fulfillio is looking for a hands-on Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our Distribution Centre in Altona, VIC.
This is a full-time, on-site role working closely with the Warehouse Manager to support the day-to-day operation of a busy 3PL environment.
We’re looking for someone who is ready to take the next step in their warehouse career, ideally a Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor, 2IC or experienced warehouse professional who wants more responsibility and a genuine pathway into warehouse management.
What you’ll be doing:Supporting the Warehouse Manager with daily operationsCoordinating warehouse staff and operational prioritiesMonitoring picking, packing, replenishment and dispatchManaging inbound receiving and stock movementsInvestigating inventory discrepancies and stock issuesCoordinating carrier collections and freightFollowing up delayed, stuck or incomplete ordersUsing WMS and RF scanning systemsSupporting stocktakes and cycle countsTraining and supporting warehouse team membersHelping maintain a safe, organised and efficient warehouseWorking hands-on on the warehouse floor when required
What we’re looking for:2+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics or distributionPrevious Team Leader, Supervisor, 2IC or similar experienceStrong understanding of receiving, inventory and dispatchExperience using WMS, ERP or RF scanning systemsGood computer and operational reporting skillsStrong organisational and problem-solving abilityConfidence coordinating and supporting a warehouse teamGood communication skillsA hands-on, accountable and reliable approachFull and unrestricted Australian working rightsAvailability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, on-site in AltonaLF/LO forklift licence is highly regarded.
