Venue Manager Waverley

About the role

You'll take ownership of the venue and be responsible for the day-to-day operation, your team and the customer experience, while being supported by an experienced senior operations team. Weekend availability is essential as weekends are an important part of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing the front-of-house team

• Being highly visible on the floor and setting the standard for service

• Managing rosters, labour costs and day-to-day staffing

• Driving sales and improving the customer experience

• Working closely with the Executive Chef and senior operations team

• Managing functions and busy service periods

• Building a positive, accountable team culture

• Maintaining strong operational, RSA, WHS and food-safety standards

• Identifying opportunities to improve the venue and having the autonomy to implement good ideas

About you

• Strong hospitality management experience

• A natural ability to lead and hold people accountable

• Excellent floor presence and customer-service skills

• Experience with rosters, labour management and cost control

• The confidence to make decisions and solve problems

• A hands-on approach — you're happy to get involved when the venue is busy

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Current NSW RSA

• RCG and Approved Manager qualifications are highly regarded
