About the Role

As the Regional Medical Operations Manager reporting into the National Operations Manager, you will coordinate and supervise all regional operations in Home Healthcare.

This role ensures Home Healthcare/ Medical Gas operations are in full compliance with both internal and external regulations and safety requirements and are structured to provide continuity to customers in a cost effective, safe and efficient manner.

Specifically, you will:

• Implement, schedule, prioritise and maintain Home Healthcare operations conducted by Supagas employees, Agents or contractors to meet contractual obligations according to internal procedures.
• Participate in Regional or National operational projects and initiatives as a member of the medical project team (where relevant) and take responsibility for the implementation at a local level (e.g. medical systems upgrades)
• Ensures that assets used in Home Healthcare operations are maintained according to internal procedures and accounted for. This includes the responsibility for ensuring scheduled and corrective maintenance is performed as pre-defined schedules in a timely manner, particularly regarding home healthcare equipment.
• Assist with the development, review, and update of Safety Cases, Licence applications, HSEQ management plans, environment plans, and associated regulatory submissions
• Responsible for the efficient and cost-effective implementation of Home Healthcare operations at a Regional level
• Act as a backup medical Driver when all alternative options have been exhausted
• Responsible for medical stock management and stocktaking within the region
• Ensures Home Healthcare / Medical Gas customers are properly trained to use Supagas products and equipment safely. All appropriate compliance documents are completed and uploaded.
• Conducts regular audits to make sure that internal and external regulations, safety requirements and internal procedures are understood and followed
• Support the management of the afterhours requirements for Homecare customers.

You possess:

• Three to five years operational/ supervisory experience
• Logistical knowledge of NSW & ACT
• High level of communication skills required, including all communications, written and verbal skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to listen and reason an ultimately illicit the desired results.
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software
• Possess auditing and project management skills
• Well-developed decision-making skills and a high degree of problem-solving ability.
