About The Role
In this hands-on teaching role, you’ll:
Design and deliver engaging learning programs focused on any of the following -ACM20121 Certificate II in Animal CareACM30122 Certificate III in Animal Care Services (Pet Grooming or general stream) Qualification.ACM40322 Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and TrainingDeliver engaging and hands-on classes to diverse students.Provide feedback and support to help students develop their skills.Maintain industry currency through professional networks and industry engagement
We Are Excited About You Because You Have
Minimum 2 years industry experience in Animal related industries with focus on Animal behaviour and training, multiple species highly considered.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) – mandatoryMust hold a relevant qualification relating to any of the following: Certificate II in Animal Care Certificate III in Animal Care Services (Pet Grooming or general stream), Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training or Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of welfare, animal ethics and care practices.A genuine love for animals and enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge.
