HV/Instrumentation Electrician | 8:6 Roster (Rio Tinto)

FIFO Perth | Rio Tinto | 8:6 Roster | $100 to $106.25 hour | 6.5 Month Contract

CrewSELECT is seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join a leading mining operation at Gudai-Darri (Rio Tinto). This is an excellent opportunity to secure a contract  FIFO role with an immediate start, working on fixed plant maintenance across a world-class mining operation well past 2027.

• $100 to $106.25 hour 
• 6.5-month contract (13 August 2026 – 3 March 2027)
• Potential for ongoing work beyond the initial contract
• 8:6 FIFO roster
• 12-hour shifts
• Primarily Day Shift, with the option to work every third swing on Night Shift (not mandatory)
• Flights, accommodation and meals provided

Working within the Fixed Plant Maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining, fault finding and repairing electrical, instrumentation and control systems across the site while safely performing HV switching operations.

• Fixed plant electrical maintenance
• High Voltage switching operations
• Instrumentation fault finding and maintenance
• PLC fault finding and diagnostics
• Preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to site standards

• Proven experience with HV  and Instrumentation works - Preferrable on a RIO TINTO site.
• Demonstrated PLC troubleshooting experience
• Strong fixed plant maintenance background
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

• WA A Grade Electrical Licence
• High Voltage Switching Operations Certificate
• Cert IV in Instrumentation

• Drivers license
