headspace Community Engagement Worker

Up to $80,264 p/a + superannuation + salary sacrifice

About the role:

Are you passionate about connecting young people with the support they need to thrive? 

headspace Emerald is seeking a dynamic and community-minded Community Engagement Worker to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will be the face of headspace in the local community, building awareness of our services, fostering meaningful partnerships, and creating opportunities for young peopleto engage early with health and wellbeing support. 

Through innovative events, community outreach, and target engagement startegies, you will play a key role in ensuring young people know where to turn when they need help. 

What will a typical day look like?

• Lead community engagementand awareness activities 
• Coordinate events that make a diference for young people
• Grow headspace's presence through social media and marketing 
• Build meaningful partnerships across the local community 
• Promote youth wellbeing through creative campaigns and initiatives 
• Represent headspace as a trusted community advocate 

Mandatory Requirements:

• Certificate IV Health Promotion, Public Health, Community Development, Social/Behavioural Science, Social Work/Planning, or a related discipline with relevant experience.

• A strong communicator, able to quickly build rapport and influence across a diverse range of people.

Other Requirements: 

• Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
• Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
