Linesperson - Certificate III in ESI Transmission Overhead

We are seeking experienced Transmission Linespersons with a Certificate III in ESI – Transmission Overhead (UET30521) who have strong transmission stringing experience to join our growing workforce on major high-voltage transmission projects across Australia, from the West Coast to the East Coast.

As part of our transmission construction crews, you'll be involved in:

• Transmission conductor stringing and sagging

• Installation of OPGW and earthwire

• Tower assembly and erection

• Installation and replacement of insulators and hardware

• Climbing transmission structures

• Operating in tensioning and pulling operations

• Working safely on live transmission corridors under approved procedures

• Reading construction drawings and work packs

• Maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality

ESSENTIAL

• Certificate III in ESI – Transmission Overhead (UET30521)

• Demonstrated experience on transmission line construction projects

• Strong transmission stringing experience (this is essential)

• Experience working on 132kV, 220kV, 275kV, 330kV or 500kV transmission lines

• Current White Card

• Excellent commitment to safe work practices

• Ability to work in remote project locations and FIFO rosters

• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team

HIGHLY REGARDED

• Dogging

• Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Rigging

• Elevated Work Platform (WP)

• Tower Rescue

• CPR/LVR

• First Aid

• HR or MR Licence

• Experience operating pullers, tensioners or associated stringing equipment

• Experience supervising stringing crews
