About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Leading Hand to join our airport catering team in Sydney. This role is key to ensuring smooth operations, leading teams, and maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and performance.

You will support the coordination of daily catering activities within your area, ensuring aircraft are serviced efficiently and on schedule. Leading by example, you’ll help foster a strong team culture while ensuring compliance with all operational and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate catering operations to ensure on-time aircraft servicingSupervise, train and support team membersLead by example by performing Driver/Marshaller duties when requiredAllocate resources and manage workflow to meet operational targetsMonitor team performance, productivity and complianceComplete required reporting and administrative tasksMaintain safety, quality and regulatory standards (HACCP, WHS, etc.)Provide professional communication and customer service

About You

Strong leadership and organisational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesA proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to lead by exampleExperience working in fast-paced, operational environmentsCommitment to safety, compliance and high service standardsAbility to follow both verbal and written instructionsValid Australian MR (or higher) Driver’s LicenceFlexibility to work across different operational areas as required
