We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Banquet Sales Coordinator to join our Events team. Reporting to the Hotel & Event Sales Manager you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering exceptional corporate, conference, wedding and social events from enquiry through to completion.

About the Role

Working alongside our Events Department, you will assist with the coordination and administration of a diverse range of corporate and social events while delivering exceptional customer service throughout the client journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to event enquiries and client correspondence.

• Meet with clients to discuss conference, wedding and event requirements.

• Conduct venue site inspections and familiarisations.

• Prepare quotations, contracts and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).

• Coordinate all event details from confirmation through to completion.

• Recommend room layouts, menus and beverage packages to suit client requirements.

• Liaise closely with the Kitchen, Food & Beverage, Front Office and Housekeeping teams to ensure seamless event delivery.

• Attend and contribute to weekly sales and operations meetings.

• Assist with the coordination and operational support of hotel special events.

• Maintain accurate client records within the hotel's property management and event systems.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in hotel events, conference or banquet sales coordination.

• Previous experience coordinating conferences, weddings, functions or corporate events.

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations.

• Excellent organisational, time management and multitasking skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• A warm, professional and positive approach to customer service.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using a CRM or hotel event management system (Salesforce experience is advantageous but not essential).

• The ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
